Feb. 18

Well my sweet crazy dad is in the hospital with pneumonia. Thanks Liz and Steph for getting him there. I'm going this morning to get the lastest update.

Feb. 19

OK day two with Gordo in the hospital. Always an adventure.
Yesterday ... Dad ... it's a serum specimen ... not sperm and when the IV bag is empty and beeps ... you don't have to answer your phone.
Folks this is typical of my whacky dad ... I think he's feeling better. Lol

Feb. 20

Long day yesterday, but Liz and I managed to get Gordo back home and situated. He still has pneumonia, but was doing well enough to continue treatment at home.
Thanks to all of you for the well wishes and prayers.

Well it's official! My dad is coming to live with us. He took care of me in my early years, the least I can do is take care of him in his latter.
BTW ... my husband is a saint. Love you Mikey!

Thanks to my wonderul son for making dad's bathroom completely handicap friendly. Installing safety bars, shower chair, toilet rails, etc. Even replacing the light bulbs with the kind Gordo likes...

OK ... my cell phone's ringing this morning at 5:30. Ran to get it. Guess who ??? Yep it's Gordo. Pretty resourceful for an old guy. BTW nothing was wrong ... he just wanted to tell me something. He cracks me up!

I feel so sorry for those who aren't close to their parents. Your loss and their's.
